Welcome to Tarbrax Village Hall Association (TVHA).
Christmas Fayre - Saturday 4th December
2 - 4pm
Tarbrax Village Hall was officially opened on the 22nd February 2003 and is very much a multi-purpose hall used by all ages in the community.
This modern and well-equipped hall, including bar facilities, is also available for hire to outside organisations.
Regular users of the hall include WAT Youth Club, the Over 50's Group, Tarbrax WRI, the Tarbrax Church Coffee Morning, and Tarbrax Bowling Club.
TWATS (Tarbrax Woolfords Auchengray Theatrical Society) use the hall for their production of an annual pantomime.
TVHA also run various groups and classes including keep fit and badminton.
The hall was built to replace the Old Community Education Hall, which was closed down in 1977.
The ground was donated to the village by BP and the project was funded by the Lotteries Charity Board, the Scottish Executive and South Lanarkshire Council.
Funded by the local community,
TVHA is a Recognised Scottish Charity - SC 027927.
We have a photocopier and charge 5p per page.
Also, we now have our own music equipment which can be hired for parties, etc.
There is now a bottle bank at the rear of the hall. Please think of those nearby when using it!
